What I would like one to retain from this poetical immersion, is the variety of sources of inspiration for a poem, the diversity of responses it produces, and the degree of its impact. Indeed, from exploring the different annotations which mobilise different senses and ways of approaching the world that surrounds us but also the world of imagination, one should see how inherently entangled all these aspects are and part of a whole. Just as the Romantic poet, though often portrayed as a solitary being, is actually part of a broader circle with each part connected to every other. These connections can be contemporary, as one can notice the different authors reading each other and influencing each other over a relatively short period of time, and how the Romantic movement expanded onto several countries and even continents. However, the impact of each and every piece of creative work can extend to a larger scale; as works from the 19th Century are still impacting the way we understand the world and still call for creative responses today, but also relate to modern issues such as ecological crises. Overall, any creative work that is put out there in the world would be caught in a broader picture and be understood as a part of a bigger whole, without losing anything of its intrinsic value.
